I don't see any threads for the new year so I thought I would just start one to say that I hope
everyone has a wonderful, healthy, safe and happy new year !!

Here is wishing that this new year will bring many new stiffer laws and money to enforce those laws to help the stop the overpopulation of cats and dogs and to help get all the animals inside and to help put a stop to cruelty.

And here is hoping all is well with you moyesii !! [Smile]

HI !

yes my cats and i are doing good. i hope you and
yours are good too !!

you know you only ever posted that one picture of Klimky ...and some fantastic pic that was !!

but you never posted any more of the rest of your
crew. or did i miss that some place ? wink wink.

so mel the cat by my job was caught in may and
fixed and turned out to be friendly so he is now
in my apt with me and my other two.

unfortunately they are terrified of him, he is very aggressive towards them, and so they can't be left alone together. i may have to rehome him.

i don't have a separate room so when i am not home he either has to stay in the bathroom on in his large pen.

but thats no life.

i have been trying meds but so far it has not improved the situation.

keep your ears open for anyone you know, who is cat smart with experience, that might want him.
email me if you hear of anyone you know personally.

i hope a miracle happens and something breaks over here so i don't have to rehome him but its
been 7 months and i have about tried everything.

but he's off the streets and thats a good thing.

anyway... how about those pictures ? LOL !!

Ok you got me. I did promise to post pictures, and now it's several months later, and nothing. I don't like breaking my word, so I'll post a few more now. [Smile]

I haven't seen these pictures in awhile. They're all from 2-3 years ago. My cats are indoors now. I don't let them outside anymore, because of the neighbors...

When the grass grew long, the cats loved to play a game of hide and go stalk.
 -

Here is Klimky in her favorite patch of clover. Isn't she just a cute little meaty dumpling?
 -

Back in the days when we used to get snow, I liked to build igloos for the cats.
 -

They loved to hang out inside the igloos.
 -

They also loved to run through the paths that I made in the snow.
 -

Here's a scene that anyone with multiple cats should recognize.

It's so great that you were able to rescue Mel. I'm sure there's a solution to integrate him with your other two. Have you read "The Cat Who Cried for Help" by Dr. Nicholas Dodman? It's a great book that might give you some ideas.

oh my goodness those pictures are wonderful !!

i love your igloo LOL !!

the last picture the kitty on the right looks
very much like my prettyboy.

all my cats were born outside and lived outside
and then were inside outside for awhile so i too
have pictures of them outside.

they did love it even though their mommy worried
about them.

mine are also now indoor only and have no desire
to go out anymore.

after their mommy picked up one too many dead
kittys off the road from cars hitting them she
decided that before it was one of her babys that
she would make them indoor only. not to mention
all the cats that came back positive for diseases.

i loved your pictures ! thanks for posting them.
and no i have not read that book. i will make
sure to pick that up.

right now i am giving my other two cats some
amitriptyline which is my mamakittys meds for
her urinary problem but i spoke to a vet and
she said that that med is also used in this
situation that i am having to calm everyone
down until all is well and then they can be
taken off of it.

its hard when you live in one room. its like
sticking them in the same cage and telling them
you must get along now.

i hope for it all to work out.

right now i have until saturday to find a
wonderful loving forever home for the sweetest
cat i have ever met.

i have been helping this kid get some cats fixed
that he has been socializing in hopes that
eventually we will find them homes.
however this third female is not one of the ones
he had to socialize. she must have been someones
pet at some point. she is the friendliest cat
i have ever met. i brought her to my vet on
saturday and am boarding her there for the week
with a poster up saying she is up for adoption.
she was fixed yesterday and she came back
negative on her tests. she is a beautiful medium
to long haired black sort of grey and white kitty.
saturday i will have to pick her up and return
her to this kids yard.
they already have two cats and his mother has
said no to a third.
if you know of anyone personally that would like
to have this kitty and give her an inside only
home please let me know.
my email address is JLBA58@YAHOO.COM

thanks again for the pictures !! i loved them !
