Duchesse de Rohan is new to my garden, planted last year.

How tall and wide does it grow in your garden?

Does it repeat bloom well? How do you like the fragrance?

Krista, I planted my Duchesse de Rohan in Fall of 2004 as a rooted cutting. It has been growing very well, but hasn't established yet. It might take another 1-2 years until I can comment about its growth and blooming habits. Unfortunately, I can't comment about the fragrance. See my other post [Smile]

Thanks for the info! I had a feeling that this might be a rose that might require some years to mature.

I had thought about transplanting it, but I don't want to stress it right now. I don't want to risk losing it.

I'm looking forward to seeing it in bloom this summer.

You also might want to check out HelpMeFind. It's an online rose database. Here's the page on Duchesse de Rohan:

Did you buy yours from The Uncommon Rose too?

I got mine from Vintage Gardens, gallon size. (Every once in a while they sell their roses in a gallon, but usually it's a band.)

A critter had nibbled on it, so it's pretty short now. I planted it last spring.
